Determination of Final Grade

Chapter Tests-25%, Quizzes/homework-25% Final Exam-30% Labs 10% Attendance 10%.

1. You will have 4 Major Tests and a Final Exam in this class. All tests and the exam are taken on blackboard during a specified time frame. If you miss the test due date and it has to be reopened, there will be an automatic deduction of 20 points. There are "NO RETAKES". If you miss a Test, due to an EXCUSED absence a makeup test will be allowed if absence is excused per the absence policy and is verifiable.  Taking the Final Exam is Mandatory to complete the course. Failure to take the Final Exam is an automatic Fail for the course..

2. Homework assignments are to be submitted on blackboard and must be completed by due date, 5 points if a day late, 10 points if 2 days late, 15 PTS will be deducted if submitted more than 5 days late. Homework more than 2 weeks late will potentially not receive a grade higher than 50.
