I. Instructor I, Lamar State College-Port Arthur (January 2024 – present)

Responsibilities include course design, instruction of both dual credit student and general college student populations in face-to-face, hybrid and fully online modalities, lecturing and managing of classroom activities and discussions/debates, instructional assessment, design and management of Blackboard course sites, and participation in various assigned committees, including the Retention Committee, QEP Implementation Committee and Title V Advisory Board.

Joined the SSSA in Spring 2025.

Phi Alpha Theta

Became a lifetime member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national historical honor society and publisher of a peer-reviewed journal (The Historian) during March 2015.

Earned a Digital Educator Certificate from Sam Houston State University in August 2025.

Instructor was elected to the Faculty Senate in Spring 2025 and then later appointed to serve as associate presiding officer of the Faculty Council following structural changes to ensure compliance of the Faculty Council with SB37. Instructor served as vice-president of the Council for the 2025-2026 Academic Year, and was then appointed to become presiding officer of the Faculty Council for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
